Heritage, handled with care
Every garment is treated as cultural object first and product second — from the way it is stored to the way it is handed over.

Our heritage
Rangin Poshak is a founder-led Melbourne atelier for Afghan traditional attire — chosen, prepared, and handed over with the care a celebration deserves.
The founderA personal authorship
Rangin Poshak began with a simple wish: to help the diaspora dress for the moments that matter without losing the language of home. Every garment is chosen by hand — for its region, its stitch, and the family story it can carry into a new celebration.
Nothing here is bought in bulk and listed. Each dress is considered as a cultural object first, then prepared so that, when it reaches you, it already feels cared for.
The story so far
A short history of how the boutique grew — and what has stayed the same since the first dress was handed over.
“The rail grew, the city changed — the care behind each handover never did.”The Founder
Afghan dress carries region, family, and occasion in its colour and stitch. The boutique begins with that language.
Rangin Poshak opens as a founder-led boutique, dressing the diaspora for Eid, weddings, and the moments in between.
A concierge rental service launches so ceremonial pieces can be worn beautifully more than once.
Made-to-brief and regional sourcing let clients commission the exact colour story and silhouette they imagine.
From Melbourne to clients across the world, Afghan attire is delivered like ceremony, not like inventory.
What we hold to
These are not slogans. They are the working rules that decide which pieces we keep, how we store them, and how we speak to every client.
Every garment is treated as cultural object first and product second — from the way it is stored to the way it is handed over.
We choose pieces where the coinwork, threadwork, and beadwork reward a second, closer look.
Clear answers on sizing, timing, and care come before any commitment. The right piece matters more than a fast sale.
Rental and restoration extend the life of beautiful, labour-intensive garments and keep them in celebration.
“Every coin, bead, and thread is chosen to reward a second, closer look.”The house principle
Our promiseWhat you can count on
Heritage dress is labour-intensive and personal, so the way it is handled matters as much as the garment itself. From the first message to the final return, here is what we hold ourselves to.
In their words
It felt like being dressed by family. The fit was confirmed before I committed, and the dress arrived in packaging I almost didn't want to open.Sahar M.Eid reception — Melbourne
