Editorial Afghan textile still life with folded red silk, black velvet, antique gold trim, silver coins, and lapis beads.Worn more than once

Why rent

Ceremonial dress is made to be worn — and worn again.

A coin-laden bodice or a hand-beaded lapis panel takes weeks to make. Most are worn once and then folded away. Renting keeps those pieces in celebration, gives you a richer look for the occasion, and means you can choose differently for the next one.

  • Wear a labour-intensive ceremonial piece without storing it for years
  • Change looks across a multi-day celebration without buying each one
  • Try a heavier, more dramatic silhouette than you would own
  • Keep beautiful garments in celebration instead of in a wardrobe

Care made simple

A few notes to keep the piece perfect.

The care kit covers most of it. These are the small habits that protect coinwork, beadwork, and silk while the dress is in your hands.

Before the event

Hang the garment to release folds. Steam gently from a distance — never iron directly over coins, beads, or mirrorwork.

Wearing it well

Apply perfume and makeup before dressing. Keep heavy bags off embellished panels and store jewellery contact points carefully.

After the event

Air the piece, spot-check embellishment, and store flat or on a padded hanger away from direct light and damp.

Rental returns

Return in the supplied garment bag by the agreed date. We handle specialist cleaning and any restoration.

Bond and terms

Clear terms, before you commit.

Rental should feel as considered as ownership. Here is how the bond, the timing, and the protection of each piece actually work.

Bond held · returned in full · fair wear expected

A refundable bond

A bond is held at the start of the rental and returned in full once the piece comes back on time and in the same condition. Bond amounts sit beside each tier above.

Timing, agreed in writing

Pickup, wear date, and return date are confirmed before anything is reserved. For Eid and wedding season, the earlier you enquire, the more flexibility you have.

Embellishment, protected

Coinwork, lapis beadwork, and mirrorwork are delicate by nature. Fair wear is expected; loss, snagging, or staining of embellished panels is covered by the bond terms.

Good to know

Rental questions, answered.

The details clients ask about most before reserving a piece.

Can I order or rent?

Yes. Start with an enquiry so the boutique can confirm availability, sizing, event timing, and rental conditions before you commit.

Do you offer worldwide shipping?

The boutique profile states worldwide shipping. Shipping details should be confirmed per piece because traditional garments can vary in weight, care needs, and timing.

Are the founder photos used as product photos?

No. Human photos are used only for the founder story. Product and mission areas use dress, textile, atelier, and embroidery imagery.

Can I request a colour or style?

Yes. Send the colour story, occasion, and any reference piece you love so the boutique can guide you toward a suitable traditional look.

How far ahead should I enquire?

For Eid and wedding season, four to six weeks gives the most flexibility for sizing, alterations, sourcing, and shipping. Last-minute requests are still welcome and handled case by case.
